I found this book to be a quick enjoyable read. The author created a unique take on the YA dystopian and climate change genres. The story centers around a young woman who is struggling to survive in a desperate world. She is considered inferior to the elite city dwellers. Regina and her fellow Marginals are forced to live outside the flood walls and live in the swamps. The author created characters I feel invested in and is quite talented at world building. The book finishes nicely without a huge cliffhanger, yet left me wanting to know more about these characters futures. I look forward to reading more by this author.
